This beef stir fry is incredibly flavourful and easy! Serve with noodles, over rice, or in a lettuce cup if you would prefer a low carb version
Sesame Beef Stir Fry
Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl with the steak strips. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Heat 15ml cooking oil in large skillet. Remove the excess marinade from the steak and cook in a single layer for 2-3 minutes, stirring to cook both sides. You may need to do this in batches. Remove steak from the skillet.
Heat remaining 15 ml cooking oil, then add carrots and spring onion and cook stirring often, 2-3 minutes.
Whisk together stock, soy sauce, honey/ sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, fresh ginger, cornstarch, and pepper. Add steak and sauce to skillet, stirring to combine. The sauce will thicken.
Stir in cooked noodles/rice if using, and serve.
